Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center is seeking a Sterile Processing Manager to oversee the division, ensuring aseptic technique, instrument sterilization, and supply coordination to support surgical services. The role includes staffing, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration with Surgical Services leaders to optimize operating room readiness.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in sterile processing with leadership experience in a large acute care setting and holds CRCST or CSPDT

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years related experience in lieu of degree.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required upon hire.
• Minimum 3 years in surgical services/sterile processing.
• Leadership experience in a large acute care setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily operations of the sterile processing division.
• Staffing, scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
• Manage budget and capital expenditures for the division.
• Ensure aseptic/sterile technique and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain quality control and safety documentation.
• Coordinate readiness of equipment and supplies for surgical cases.
• Communicate with surgical services leaders and vendors as needed.
• Promote patient safety and department performance.
