Wellstar Health System seeks a Sterile Processing Manager to oversee the processing, sterilization, and supply workflow in Surgical Services. You will manage staffing, budgets, and quality initiatives to ensure efficient OR readiness and patient safety.

You will lead process improvement, coordinate with surgical leaders, and ensure compliance with AAMI/JCAHO standards while maintaining accurate records and a safe work environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required; 5+ years in sterile processing leadership accepted in lieu of degree.
• Experience leading sterile processing in surgical services.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (AAMI, JCAHO) and quality control.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee surgical instrument processing and workflow to support operating rooms.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, training, and annual performance reviews.
• Maintain budgets and cost-management, monitor safety and quality initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and documentation of sterilization records.
