Job description

Job Title: Sterile Processing Department Manager

Duration: 3 months contract

Location: Grove City, Ohio, 43123

Shift Details: 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week, from 08:00 to 16:30, totaling 40 hours per week.

Qualifications: Manager with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification and 2 professional references.

Requirements:

1. Previous leadership experience in a sterile processing or healthcare environment is essential.
2. Ability to assist instrument technicians.
3. Responsible for a 24-hour department oversight.
4. Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree required.
5. Must be capable of managing a busy healthcare sterile processing department in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 24/7 strategic leadership, direction, support, accountability, and management of the OR Sterile Processing Department (OR SPD), including decontamination and sterile processing in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Review and evaluate department performance reports, usage reports, and fiscal documents to ensure adherence to hospital goals and directives.
• Ensure quality and operational excellence, assisting the Associate Director in achieving strategic and operational objectives.
