Department: Sterile Processing Logistics

Work Type: Full Time

Shift: Shift 1/8:00:00 AM to 5:00:00 PM

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$34.97 - $45.46 / hour

Summary

Supervise daily Sterile Processing Departments (SPD) logistic deliveries and vehicle route management. Manage logistic resources and adjust accordingly to meet demands of surgical services and SPD workflow. Handle communications and requests for special / urgent delivery requests to and from all Lee Health surgical services locations as needed. Ensure truck and vehicle fleet equipment is functioning properly, including daily inspections, and report / escalate any service and/or repair needs. Facilitate regular feedback and communications between SPD drivers, SPD, and surgical services leaders, identifying areas of improvement for logistics activities and supporting processes.Review delivery performance metrics with drivers and leadership. Lead and mentor delivery team, promoting professional growth and development. Perform deliveries as necessary based on schedule gaps and operational demands. Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education:High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: 5 years in a supervisory role in healthcare and previous logistics and truck driving experience

Licensure: CDL driver's license

Certifications: N/A

Other: Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service skill, ability multi-task, problem solve and work independently. Working knowledge of computer, fleet management software application (Samsara System), data entry (Censitrac Tracking System), and retrieval.
