Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a Full-time Central Service Technician for the 12:30pm-9:00pm shift (40 hours/week). Responsibilities include ordering instruments, building tray lists, sterilizing equipment, logging repairs, and coordinating with vendors.

Requires CRCST/CSPDT/CFER certification and 3 years in sterile processing. Role involves training staff, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with sterilization standards, while maintaining high attention to detail in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Typically requires 3 years of experience in sterile processing.
Must have thorough knowledge of sterilization principles and requirements, inventory and asset management, and quality assurance activities.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills necessary.

Responsibilities

Training and orienting employees, providing day-to-day work direction, and guiding performance.
Assist with HR responsibilities including interviewing, orientation, and staff development.
Monitor department operations, assign work, and respond to service requests.
Receive, decontaminate, and sort instruments; build and wrap trays; sterilize equipment; QA sterilization methods.
Log instruments and repairs, order new instruments, and coordinate with vendors.
