Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician II/III to ensure the safe handling of instruments across multiple specialties. You will decontaminate, assemble, sterilize, and issue sterile supplies while maintaining records and following policies.

Training will be provided, and on-call/holiday rotations may apply. The role requires proficiency in CP procedures, strong communication, and the ability to teach and precept new staff.

Qualifications

• CPR or relevant healthcare tech certification is expected for Sterile Processing roles.
• Certification from HSPA is required or preferred depending on level.
• Experience with Sterile Processing Department software is not specified in this posting.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, decontaminate, and disinfect surgical instruments.
• Assemble, wrap, label, and sterilize instruments for procedures.
• Perform daily/weekly testing of decontamination and sterilization equipment.
