Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Supervisor for the 37719 Davie Medical Center - Sterile Processing Services. The role requires CSPDT certification and directs SPD staff across the sterile processing cycle.

Hours are Monday through Friday with a 40-hour week and pay range noted below. Responsibilities include ensuring instrument processing efficiency, maintaining compliance logs, and collaborating with OR coordinators and SPD leadership to meet production goals.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED with two years' Sterile Processing experience.
Certification as CSPDT or other sterile processing certification required.
Certification in Sterile Processing Management encouraged within three years of hire.

Responsibilities

Lead SPD employees and supervise Sterile Processing activities as needed.
Maintain department production requirements and assist with case carts management.
Communicate instrument needs and issues with SPD Supervisor, Liaisons, and OR Coordinators.
Ensure equipment functions properly and report issues to SPD Supervisor/department.
Assist with policy enforcement and departmental compliance logs.
