The role requires a CSPDT certification with three years of sterile processing experience; an Associate's degree is preferred, and leadership duties include staff education and policy enforcement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with three years' sterile processing experience.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• CSPDT certification required; Sterile Processing Management certification within three years of hire.

Responsabilités

• Leads SPD employees to meet department production standards and oversees inventory throughput.
• Expert in sterile processing cycle and provides guidance to SPD staff.
• Perform administrative functions per policies and procedures.
• Assess surgical case schedule and determine operating room needs.
• Maintain compliance logs per manufacturer and regulatory requirements (AAMI/AORN).
• Assist with case cart management and on‑time delivery.
