Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician II to support surgical services. You will disassemble, clean, disinfect, decontaminate, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and distribute sterile instruments and supplies across ORs, Maternity, and ED.

Requirements include a high school diploma, completion of Central Processing Technology course, and at least two years of sterile processing experience with CRCST or CSPDT certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of Central Processing Technology Course required.
• Two years of sterile processing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, disinfect, decontaminate, and sterilize instruments.
• Inspect instruments for cleanliness and function.
• Assemble kits and load for sterilization; document processes.
• Operate and monitor decontamination and sterilization equipment.
• Rotate between SPD, GI, OSC departments as needed.
