Responsibilities

• Performs decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging, and sterilization of reusable medical devices and instruments.
• Operates sterile processing equipment per IFU and department policies.
• Inspects items for cleanliness and functionality; identifies repair needs.
• Assembles instrument trays and procedure sets per tray listings and standards.
• Documents processing activities and maintains traceability using instrument tracking systems.
• Maintains inventory of sterile supplies and processing consumables.
