CHOC in Orange, California is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician Lead to oversee decontamination, prep/assembly, sterilization and distribution of trays and sets within the sterile processing unit. You will monitor the instrument tracking system, maintain logs, and manage staff on your shift while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a minimum of two years in Sterile Processing, leadership experience, and a Technician Certification within 6 to 12 months.

Formación

• Minimum two years of Sterile Processing experience.
• At least one year of experience in training and orientation of new staff.
• Certification within six to twelve months (CSPDS or IAHCSMM).

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise sterile processing shifts.
• Monitor decontamination, prep/assembly, sterilization, and distribution of trays and sets.
• Perform performance evaluations for staff.
