Job summary

Geisinger in Scranton is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for a full-time night shift (10:30pm–7am). Requires a High School Diploma or GED and CRCST from HSPA or CBSPD, plus three years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years related work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily supervision and management activities in the department.
• Maintain compliance with Joint Commission and Department of Health regulations.
• Oversee decontamination, cleaning, processing and sterilization of supplies and equipment.
• Direct the work of others in the absence of management.
• Contribute to quality monitors, in-service programs and orientation.
