Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, PA is hiring a Sterile Processing Technician for the nights shift (10:30pm–7:00am). A $3,000 signing bonus is offered if eligible. Requires a high school diploma or GED, and CRCST or CBSPD certification with at least 3 years of related work experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years related work experience required.
• Certification as Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST/CBSPD) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Supervise department activities and ensure regulatory compliance (Joint Commission, Department of Health).
• Oversee decontamination, cleaning, processing and sterilization of supplies.
• Direct work in absence of management and assist in staffing and planning.
• Contribute to quality monitors, in-service programs and orientation.
• Assist in interviewing and replacing staff and addressing operational issues.
