Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years related work experience in sterile processing.
• Ability to obtain CIS within 3 months of hire.
• CRCST from HSPA or CBSPD required.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily supervision and department management.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and DOH.
• Perform decontamination, cleaning, processing and sterilization.
• Direct staff in absence of management.
• Support staffing, planning and operational functions.
• Maintain instrument sets listings and diagrams.
• Assist in interviewing and replacement of staff.
• Investigate interdepartmental issues and complaints.
• Perform SPS duties including decontamination and sterilization.
• Disassemble, clean, inspect and assemble instrument sets.
• Dispense products per requisitions.
• Move non-controlled meds to meet clinic needs.
