Job summary

St. Charles Health System in Bend, Oregon is seeking a Lead Sterile Processing Technician to coordinate shift operations, ensure timely processing of instruments, and support OR, Cath Lab, and MDU. The role requires CRCST/CSPDT certification and relevant Sterile Processing experience.

Qualifications

• Required: Six months’ experience in Sterile Processing or completion of Sterile Processing externship.
• Preferred: Two years’ experience in Sterile Processing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the team’s daily activities to clean, sterilize, and pick instruments, sets, and scopes.
• Assists leadership with department process improvements and helps create and update policies and procedures.
• Leads Sterile Processing technicians assigned to decontamination, assembly, scope processing, sterilizer, and front case picking.

Education

High School diploma or GED

CRCST certification from HSPA

CSPDT certification from CBSPD

Associates or Bachelor's in Supply Chain/Business

CIS certification
