Sterile Processing Technician Lead – Inova Loudoun Hospital

Full‑time (40 hrs/week) night shift, Monday‑Friday, 11:00 pm‑7:00 am. Competitive pay with additional benefits and perks.

Job Responsibilities

• Assembles complex trays and instrumentation accurately and efficiently.
• Prioritizes instruments and uses critical thinking to provide solutions for OR needs.
• Assumes leadership and supervisory role within the department.
• Decontaminates instruments safely and appropriately.
• Ensures sterility of all processed items.
• Maintains instruments and ensures timely distribution to all customers.
• Manages instrument inventory and ensures timely distribution.
• Trains others to be competent in all areas of sterilization.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Experience: Two‑year Sterile Processing experience required.
• Certification: CRCST or CBSPD certification from the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD).
