Texas Health Resources is hiring a Certified Sterile Processing Tech Lead for the Rockwall facility. The role involves leading sterile processing activities, ensuring patient safety and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.

You will work evening shifts, participate in rotating call requirements, and contribute to process improvements while mentoring staff and coordinating with physicians and other departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of sterile processing experience required.
• CSPDT, CBSPD or CRCST certification required upon hire.
• HSPA preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory control concepts; PPE guidelines.
• Good reading, writing and spoken English; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Sterile Processing: Collect, decontaminate, assemble, sterilize and disperse instrument trays, instruments and supplies.
• Run tests and document on all sterilizers and flash machines daily.
• Produce accurate, complete and clean instrument trays.
• Leads and models interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians and external customers.
• Schedules meetings, coordinates agendas and takes minutes.
• Assists with staffing coordination.
• Facilitates staff development in process improvement.
• Take action to improve processes to reduce ineffectiveness and cost.
