Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech III to lead onsite training within the Sterile Processing Department. You will educate and mentor staff, participate in onboarding, and perform standard Sterile Processing technician duties in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role emphasizes strong communication, team collaboration, and the ability to deliver timely solutions while upholding department standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Current professional certification with HSPA or CBSPD.
• 3–5 years' experience in a Sterile Processing department.
• Experience implementing systems in healthcare environments.
• Knowledge of regulatory bodies impacting Sterile Processing and ORs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and hospital software.

Responsibilities

• Educate new team members on Sterile Processing procedures and standards.
• Assemble instrument trays and packs per standards and IFUs.
• Operate sterilizers and document loads, track biological/chemical indicators.
• Build case carts using Epic data and stocking procedures.
• Perform decontamination, cleaning and disinfection of equipment and supplies.
• Maintain sterilization records and participate in quality initiatives.
