Job summary

You will operate sterilizers (steam and hydrogen peroxide), maintain records, coordinate with departments, and train personnel. Leadership duties include assigning tasks and adjusting staffing as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year sterile equipment processing experience.
• Knowledge of AAMI, AORN, JC and OSHA guidelines.
• CRS tech certification or CBSPD certification.
• Within 1 year, obtain CIS, CSIS, CER, CFER, CHL, CSPM or CASSPT.

Responsibilities

• Lead and instruct staff; assign daily tasks.
• Prioritize and reassign work to meet production needs.
• Provide input on staffing levels to support hospital services.
• Clean, decontaminate, inspect, assemble, wrap, and sterilize supplies.
• Operate steam and hydrogen peroxide sterilizers; validate equipment performance.
