Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Sterile Processing Instrument Technician to support Decontamination, Processing and Sterilization of instruments. You will ensure items are free of bioburden, inspect and assemble tools, maintain logs, and prioritize workflows while applying PPE and safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, no prior experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to work with diverse teams in a hospital environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean, process, inspect, test and assemble instruments for decontamination, processing and sterilization.

• Prioritize instrumentation, answer phones, dispatch equipment and supplies.
• Follow hospital policies and manufacturer instructions for use.
