Job summary

Advocate Health in Concord, NC seeks an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to promote an environment that supports staff growth and autonomy. You will define SPD orientation, provide education, and mentor associates across Decontamination, Instrument Assembly, Sterilization, and Case Cart functions.

The role requires CSPDT/CST credentials with 3+ years in a surgical setting and at least 1 year in teaching or supervision.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Surgical environment experience.
• 1+ years teaching or supervisory experience.
• Good working knowledge of computer programs, especially Microsoft Office and e-mail.
• CSPDT, CST preferred with current licensure.

Responsibilities

• Lead orientation and training for SPD staff.
• Coordinate competency-based education for associates.
• Support professional growth and development of staff.
• Monitor unit compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for SPD team.
