Job summary

Advocate Health's Winston-Salem campus seeks an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to lead orientation, training, and ongoing education for staff. You will maintain training manuals, assess new employees, and coordinate in-service schedules for instruments and skills development.

The role requires CSPDT/CRCST certification with 5 years in sterile processing or an accredited program plus 3 years of experience. Travel to multiple AHWFB hospital locations is included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certification as CSPDT or CRCST, or other sterile processing certification required.
• Five years' experience in Sterile Processing or completion of an accredited program with three years' experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees orientation and training of all new employees and ongoing education.
• Maintains orientation manuals and conducts weekly assessments of new staff.
• Coordinates in-service schedules for new instruments and continuing education.
• Demonstrates ability to work varied shifts and travel to multiple hospital locations.
