Description:ASAP start needed.Interviews will be conducted.Manager approval is required.The schedule is Monday to Friday, with rotating weekend call.The facility has 89 beds and includes various departments needing equipment processed.An average of 10-15 cases are handled per day.Candidates with 5+ years of experience may be considered for first-time travelers.Patient types include general surgeries, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, gynecology, orthopedics, and endoscopies.Skills required include decontamination, processing loaner pans and trays, tray assembly, wrapping, instrument inspections, and high-level disinfection.Transport of sterile items to and from the operating room is necessary.Proper use of chemicals is essential.Endoscope processing experience is required.No case picking is involved.Support is available from other technicians, although solo work may occur during evenings and weekends.On-call requirements include 1-2 evenings per week and every fourth weekend.Response time for on-call duties is 30 minutes.There are expectations for one holiday commitment per contract, which is on-call only.Request for time off must be approved by the manager.Scrub colors are provided.The unit culture is collaborative and supportive.
