Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent technical training.
• One year of sterilization experience.
• 400 hours clinical CPD experience, preferably in Healthcare.
• Cert Sterile Processing Dist Tech due within 12 months.
• Cert Sterile Processing Dist Supervisor due within 12 months.
• Cert Sterile Processing Dist Tech due within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Receives, stocks, and issues medical supplies and equipment.
• Maintains accurate inventory records and prepares supply carts per protocols.
• Monitors inventory and reports discrepancies.
• Collaborates with clinical staff and purchasing.
• Ensures adherence to storage guidelines and infection control practices.
• Operates and maintains CS department equipment.
• Assembles all surgical instrumentation for proper sterilization.
• Decontaminates all surgical instrumentation and patient care equipment.
