Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Computer literacy and proficiency.
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety Card (Hollywood and Van Nuys Only).

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and clean contaminated equipment to standards.
• Prepare crash carts, urology carts, and intubation trays.
• Order, pick up, and maintain up-to-date rental equipment inventory.
• Enter issued items and patient charges in the computer system.
• Ensure infection control procedures are followed.
• Perform Central Supply duties in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Maintain stock on nursing floors and proper storage areas.
• Assist in receiving and following up on supply deliveries.
• Orient and train others as assigned.
• Prepare documents and reports and complete ad hoc projects.
• Keep work area clean, organized and provide excellent customer service.
• Respect patient privacy and dignity at all times.
