The Sterile Processing Technician transports and processes instruments according to AORN standards.

Responsibilities

• Daily review of recording charts & biological tests from sterilizers and record results.
• Transport and process instruments according to AORN standards.

Requirements

• Knowledge of hospital supplies, OR/CSR instrumentation, sterilization.
• CRCST certification.
• Able to transport heavy OR instrumentation carts, assemble OR instrumentation tray.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Good communication skills and able to work as a team, able to work independently.
• Minor computer skills. OR experience preferred.

Salary Range

USD $33.39 - USD $33.39 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
