4100 Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a Central Sterile Technician responsible for performing sterilization procedures on medical instruments and equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and infection control guidelines.
The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma, familiarity with regulatory standards, and be a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST). The role requires onsite work at 2014 Washington Street, Massachusetts.
Responsible for performing sterilization procedures on medical instruments and equipment in accordance with established procedures, infection control standards, industry standards, recommended practices on sterilization, and regulatory requirements.
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Licenses and Credentials: Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) – Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) preferred.
Experience:
Standing, walking, and sitting at various frequencies; lifting up to 35 lbs (with assisted device); carrying 20-35 lbs; pushing and pulling occasionally; climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, gross and fine manipulation; constant foot use, vision, talking, and hearing.
Pay Range: $22.22 - $31.71 per hour. Grade 5.
Onsite work at 2014 Washington Street.
