AdventHealth in Orlando, Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time day shifts. The role includes comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, medication administration, and patient education.

Strong English, EKG competency, and teamwork are essential, with a Florida RN license and BLS certification required. Eligible clinicians may earn salary increases through our Clinical Ladder Program based on experience and advancement criteria.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, regularly evaluating and revising based on patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately, monitor for adverse reactions, and follow physician orders.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff and departments to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes.

Clinical Ladder participation is voluntary. Salary adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines.

Schedule: Full time, 40 hours Shift: Days, 8:00am to 4:30pm

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written skills)
• Basic computer skills – must be able to navigate Microsoft windows based programs
• Must be able to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patient, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care according to patient outcomes

Education

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience

• 1+ acute care hospital setting [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Pay Range: $23.94 - $44.53
