Job summary

MSD in Rahway, NJ seeks candidates for R&D Operations in FLEx Center, focused on sterile formulation, aseptic processing, visual inspection, and GMP documentation. Roles require hands-on processing, equipment assembly, sterilization, and strict adherence to SOPs within Grade C environments.

Successful applicants will collaborate with engineers, formulators, and QA to ensure on-time delivery of sterile products. 2+ years of GMP experience and ability to lift 50 lbs are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of GMP pharmaceutical experience.
• Must read and follow GMP SOPs and batch records.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a cleanroom gowning including respirators.

Responsibilities

• Assemble sterile equipment following drawings for clinical development and manufacturing.
• Operate and maintain cleaning and sterilization equipment (parts washers, dry heat ovens, autoclaves).
• Receive, inspect, and store sterile supplies ensuring proper inventory and organization.
• Prepare sterile products according to protocols, perform open or closed formulation in controlled environments.
