Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, OH seeks an Instrumentation Coordinator to ensure sterilized, ready-to-use surgical instruments and supplies for all operating rooms. Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required with at least one year of instrument processing or Surgical Technologist experience.
• Certification in CRCST or CSPDT required within 6 months of hire, or must obtain within that period.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities between Operating Room and Sterile Processing to support efficient case flow.
• Package, sterilize, and decontaminate medical instruments for aseptic use.
• Procure, standardize, and organize instrument trays across the Enterprise.
• Serve as a clinical liaison between ORs and offsite CSS locations; track instrumentation across sites.
• Provide 24/7 coverage across multiple reprocessing sites including Ross Heart Hospital and University Hospital.
