Piedmont-Healthcare in Columbus Midtown is seeking a Central Service Tech to maintain sterile instrument sets, ensure decontamination, and support instrument storage with the perioperative team.

The role requires completing a central services program or surgical tech training with either certification or equivalent experience; strong attention to standard procedures and customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of Central Services Processing or Surgical Tech program required.
• In lieu of certification, prior experience as Central Service or Surgical Tech required.
• CCST or CST certification required upon hire if no prior experience.

Responsabilités

• Maintains standards for set assembly, decontamination, inspection, containerizing and sterilizing surgical instruments.
• Performs sterilization, assembly and storage of medical supplies and equipment.
• Collaborates with Perioperative Nursing staff to provide sterile instrument sets and equipment.
• Assists in maintaining consistent workflow and provides superior customer service.
