St Anthony North Hospital in Thornton, CO is seeking a Sterile Equipment Tech Lead to oversee the decontamination, processing, sterilization, and distribution of instruments while guiding staff and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will operate sterilizers, maintain records, coordinate with departments to ensure smooth workflow, train staff, and may assume supervisory duties in the absence of leadership.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• At least 1 year of sterile equipment processing experience.
• Knowledge of AAMI, AORN, JC and OSHA guidelines.
• Certified Registered Central Service Tech or CBSPD certification.
• Within 1 year, obtain CIS, CSIS, CER, CFER, CHL, CSPM, or CASSPT.

Mansioni

• Assign, instruct, and check the work of others.
• Prioritize and reassign staff and work to meet production needs.
• Provide input on staffing levels to support hospital services.
• Clean, decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and wrap supplies and instruments and sterilize using approved methods.
• Understand the basic principles of all sterilization equipment used in the department.
• Operate sterilizers (steam and hydrogen peroxide) and validate equipment function with monitors.
