Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Pharmacy Technician or related certification.
• One year of IV compounding experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with maintaining laws, standards, and procedures.
• Perform IV admixtures sterility testing and document results.
• Prepare and label medications as allowed by law.
• Assemble drugs and supplies using compounding documents and codes.
• Label products correctly and ensure container integrity.
• Match compounded products to right delivery prior to shipping.
• Conduct quality control and sterility testing.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and perform orders/receipts.
• Keep dispensing records and pharmacy documentation up to date.
• Maintain and calibrate DME and equipment; clean work areas regularly.
• Communicate with healthcare team and participate in quality assurance.
