Job summary

Empower Pharmacy is seeking a Sterile Compounding Lead to drive safe, compliant, scalable CSP operations in a 503A/503B setting. You will own shift-level workflow, aseptic discipline, documentation accuracy, and real-time issue escalation, using AI-enabled tools to improve scheduling and quality at scale.

The role partners with Pharmacy Operations, Quality, Training, and Production to deliver compliant CSP output, build capability, and expand capacity while maintaining audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of pharmaceutical compounding experience, including sterile compounding.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Registration with the Texas Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacy Technician or Technician Trainee.
• Sterile/IV certification accredited by the ACPE is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead sterile compounding activities with disciplined adherence to cGMP and aseptic technique.
• Coordinate shift priorities, room readiness, staffing, and production handoffs.
• Verify materials, equipment, documentation, and cleanroom conditions before compounding.
