Job summary

Soliant is seeking an experienced Stepdown Telemetry RN for a contract assignment in a fast-paced clinical environment. You will provide continuous cardiac monitoring, administer medications including IV therapy, and support patient recovery by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Applicants must hold an active RN license, have at least 1 year in stepdown or progressive care, and possess BLS and ACLS certifications. Strong documentation and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN licensure.
• Minimum 1 year in stepdown or progressive care unit.
• Telemetry monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and organization.
• Accurate, detailed patient records and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments with continuous cardiac monitoring in stepdown and telemetry.
• Administer medications, including IV therapy, per orders.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes with interventions.
• Collaborate with providers to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Educate patients and families on illness management and treatments.
• Document observations and outcomes in EMR systems.
• Adhere to all policies, infection control, and safety standards.
