Logan Regional Medical Center, LLC in southern West Virginia is seeking a registered nurse for its stepdown unit. Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited program for Registered Nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current state RN license; BLS.
• ACLS; other certifications within time frame required by facility policy.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a defined patient group in the stepdown unit.
• Coordinate care delivery to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families; provide discharge planning and teaching.
• Maintain clinical competence in stepdown nursing practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team; participate in quality improvement and regulatory activities.
• Record and communicate condition changes to the healthcare team.
