Job summary

CHI St. Vincent in Little Rock is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Stepdown Unit to facilitate transitions from intensive care to home readiness. You will monitor patients, care for multiple patients per shift, and support families as they navigate recovery.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing (Arkansas or compact state)
• 12 months of acute care experience required
• Step down and/or ICU experience preferred
• BLS required within 30 days
• ACLS required within 90 days

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document patient health status daily
• Care for multiple patients per shift with varying ages and conditions
• Manage patients with life-saving equipment (IVs, catheters, feeding tubes, ventilators)
• Provide a safe, comforting environment and advocate for patients
