Job summary

CHI St Vincent Hot Springs is hiring a Stepdown Nurse in Hot Springs, AR. You will monitor critically ill patients, perform care per the care plan, and respond rapidly in emergencies. A sign-on bonus up to $25,000 is available for eligible hires, plus incentives and relocation support.

Required: Associate Degree in Nursing and AR RN license upon hire; CPR within 30 days; ACLS within 90 days. Preferred: BSN. Join a Magnet-designated hospital with strong patient-care standards.

Qualifications

• Requires active nursing license (AR) at hire.
• CPR within 30 days and ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care to keep patients comfortable.
• Anticipate and respond to patients' informational and emotional needs.
• Guide and direct healthcare personnel in patient care.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment setup and use (IV pumps, monitors, drainage devices).
• Initiate emergency support measures (CPR, protect patient from injury).
• Assist with patient care duties (drainage devices, ambulation, hygiene).
