Responsibilities include daily health assessments, caring for patients of various conditions, and using life-saving equipment. The position offers a sign-on bonus of up to $25,000 along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arkansas, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support certification (CPR), within 30 days.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, within 12 months.
• Minimum six months of Acute Care experience as an RN.

Job Summary And Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in the Stepdown Unit at CHI St. Vincent, you will help patients transition from intensive care, achieving optimal health and independence so they can safely return home. This role involves direct patient care, including medication administration, monitoring vital signs, managing complex patient needs, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Checking patients' health status daily and documenting any changes or concerns
• Caring for multiple patients during a shift, with varying ages and conditions
• Monitoring patients with life‑saving equipment such as IVs, catheters, feeding tubes, and ventilators
• Creating a comfortable and secure environment for patients and serving as their advocate

Qualifications

Required：

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arkansas, upon hire
• Basic Life Support (CPR), within 30 days
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), within 12 months
• Minimum six months of Acute Care experience as an RN (alternatively, nominated for residency)

Preferred：

• Experience in step‑down or ICU settings
