Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital in Dover, Ohio, is seeking a Patient Care Nurse Assistant (PCNA) to join the Stepdown Unit. You will assist with patient care under an RN, monitor vital signs, and support transfers while engaging in education opportunities offered by Cleveland Clinic.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross is required or must be obtained during hire.
• Nursing students: BLS certification prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with patient care under RN supervision (vital signs, transfers, personal care, activities of daily living).
• Report abnormal findings to an RN.
• Assist with keeping patients' rooms clean and orderly.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Nursing students: BLS prior to hire

Nursing students clinical rotation substitution as experience

Military hospital experience considered
