Job summary

Mass General Brigham Incorporated is seeking a Registered Nurse for stepdown medicine inpatient care at our Boston facility. The role requires planning, coordinating, and delivering care for assigned patients with complex needs, under the supervision of a nurse manager.

The ideal candidate will hold a Massachusetts RN license with a BSN, have strong assessment and communication skills, and be able to work a weekend rotation per the MNA contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required in Massachusetts
• Newly licensed nurses should have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
• Experience in stepdown medicine preferred
• Must be able to work weekend rotation per MNA contract

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate a plan of care for assigned patient(s)
• Set priorities for patient care and maintain continuity of care
• Communicate clearly in verbal and written form to the health care team
• Administer medications safely and follow policies/procedures
• Collaborate with other disciplines and participate in quality improvement
• Uphold ANA code of ethics and participate in unit goals
