Job summary

The Registered Nurse position at Mass General Brigham-related facility requires delivering comprehensive patient care using the nursing process across multiple units, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes. It is a night shift with rotating weekends and holidays, onsite at 30 Locust Street.

Education preferably a Bachelor's in Nursing with Massachusetts RN licensure; BLS and ACLS within 6 months; de-escalation training within 60 days; minimum of one year

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred; experience in lieu of degree not accepted.
• RN licenses Massachusetts; BLS and ACLS certifications required; de-escalation training within 60 days.
• One year of medical/surgical nursing experience required.
• Demonstrated excellent technical, interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Coordinate nursing care with other disciplines to achieve desired patient outcomes.
• Work across Medical/Surgical Units, ED, ICU, Telemetry, Psychiatric Unit, Inpatient Surgical Center, and Childbirth Center as needed.
• Report to Nurse Manager/Director and follow established policies and procedures.
