Job summary

Youngstown State University is seeking an experienced administrator to oversee STEM Choose Ohio First Scholarship Program (COFSP) and related scholarships across the College of STEM. You will coordinate outreach, recruitment, mentoring, and awards, and ensure accurate records and reporting with internal offices and the YSU Foundation.

The role involves coordinating scholarship applications, managing communications, organizing COFSP events, and serving as a liaison to student organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• One year of related experience.
• Master’s degree preferred for the role.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily tasks related to COFSP components and services.
• Manage COFSP participation, including outreach, recruitment, awards, and meetings.
• Maintain scholarship records and update information online; liaise with YSU Foundation and Financial Aid.
• Coordinate awarding of scholarships with STEM departments and donors.
• Organize COFSP events and activities with student organizations.
• Prepare articles for social media and report to supervisors.
