The YSU Foundation is responsible for all philanthropic revenue generation for the Foundation and the University.
The Endowment Finance Associate supports the Foundation’s endowment management and stewardship efforts through financial recordkeeping, account reconciliation, fund monitoring, reporting, audit support, and donor communications. While working under the direction of the Endowment Finance Coordinator, this position helps ensure the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of endowment and scholarship fund information. Strong accounting, finance, organizational, and analytical skills are essential for success in this role. This position is currently part-time, with the potential to transition to full-time employment based on organizational needs.
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field required. Demonstrated competency in accounting, finance, or related fields, with the ability and willingness to develop knowledge and proficiency in these areas. Experience in financial aid, nonprofit organizations, higher education, financial reporting, scholarship administration, or endowment management is preferred.
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality. Knowledge of Youngstown State University, the YSU Foundation (YSUF), and the Mahoning Valley desired. Alumni status is a plus.
This position is currently a part-time, hourly role with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour. Part-time employees are not eligible for Foundation-sponsored benefits or paid holidays. There is potential for this position to transition to full-time employment based on organizational needs.
