Job summary

Sylvania in Utah is seeking an Aide - Basic STEM Math to support classroom instruction for grades 2-6, working with individuals or small groups to reinforce learning and assist teachers with math activities.

Under licensed staff guidance, you will maintain a safe learning environment, help with materials, monitor behavior, and use personalized math software to guide students toward greater confidence and skill.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with job-related coursework.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment and software.
• Experience supporting classroom activities and student supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist with classroom activities and instructional materials under supervision.
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce concepts and assist with assignments.
• Maintain classroom areas and records to support instruction.
• Monitor students in classrooms, hallways, and lunch areas.
• Communicate with teachers regarding student progress and observations.
• Attend meetings and training as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
