Togetherhood is building a network to connect skilled instructors with schools and communities for after-school STEM programs across CT and Westchester in Metro NYC. Teaching terms range 6 to 18 weeks.

As an instructor, you will develop age-appropriate curricula, lead weekly in-person classes, foster an inclusive classroom, and help students grow through hands-on projects, with a supportive team behind you.

What You'll Do

As a member of our network, you will be matched with opportunities to teach STEM (including but not limited to Science, Coding, Math, Robotics, Engineering, Video Games, Computer Animation, AI) to K-12 students at schools, buildings, and communities across CT and Westchester parts of Metro NYC. These teaching opportunities will be for terms that could last anywhere from 6 weeks to 18 weeks.

As an after school instructor, you'll have the following responsibilities:

• Develop age-appropriate STEM curriculum for after-school students
• Lead weekly in-person classes with enthusiasm and expertise
• Establish a well-structured and lively classroom that keeps students engaged
• Foster a positive, supportive, and encouraging learning environment for students of varying skill levels
• Build connections with students in a warm and inclusive environment
• Track student growth and offer positive, helpful feedback
• Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to teach
• Create a memorable experience for the children in your class
