Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Communications, Marketing, PR, English, Education, or related field.
• Proven content creation, writing, and editing experience (newsletters, press releases, flyers, social media).
• Experience managing professional social media accounts, calendars, and basic design tools.
• Proficiency with MS Office; Excel mail merges, Word, Outlook; basic data management.

Responsibilities

• Write and distribute a monthly e-newsletter to educators, businesses, legislators, and families.
• Gather region STEM activity info, capture content, and share with statewide STEM Council.
• Help develop and host events involving schools, businesses and partners; travel as needed.
