Job summary

Inova Health in Falls Church, VA is seeking a dedicated Transplant Quality Coordinator to join the Stem Cell team on a full-time basis. The role focuses on quality, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement within the transplant program.

You will implement data collection methods, analyze performance data, and support education for staff to meet CMS, UNOS and JCAHO standards. Collaboration with hospital quality structures and transplant colleagues is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
3 years of quality management and performance improvement experience in a healthcare setting.
RN licensure with RN license; CPHQ; OCN/TCN/BMTCN preferred.

Responsibilities

Assesses quality and compliance education needs of transplant staff and facilitates education and training related to regulatory requirements and readiness.
Coordinates transplant program adverse event review and reporting.
Monitors and reports quality and performance improvement data to the transplant team and regulatory bodies.
Implements data collection and reviews methodologies.
Participates in transplant insurance company site visits.
Coordinates continuous survey readiness activities.
Represents transplant programs in hospital quality activities and committees.
