Job summary

Inova Health in Northern Virginia is seeking a dedicated Transplant Quality Coordinator to join the Stem Cell team. This full-time role offers regular business hours Monday through Friday and support for a mission‑driven quality program.

You will assess education needs, coordinate CMS/UNOS/JCAHO compliance, monitor performance data, and drive continuous improvement across transplant services while collaborating with the hospital quality structure.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field.
• Experience: 3 years of quality management and performance improvement in healthcare.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in nursing or related healthcare field; Pharmacy/Nursing degree.
• Licensure: RN with RN license; CPHQ; OCN/TCTCN/BMTCN.
• Proficiency: Organization and Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Word).

Responsibilities

• Assesses quality and compliance education needs of transplant staff and facilitates education and training related to regulatory requirements and readiness.
• Participates in transplant insurance company site visits.
• Participates in all program-specific transplant collaborative practice committees.
• Establishes quality goals and identifies performance and quality improvement initiatives.
• Implements data collection and reviews methodologies.
• Performs analysis of data for the performance improvement program.
• Monitors and reports quality and performance improvement data to the transplant team, hospital quality structure and regulatory bodies.
