Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC, seeks a Transplant Quality and Performance Improvement Manager to lead the Solid Organ Transplant Program quality, compliance, and performance improvement across pre-, peri-, and post-transplant care for renal, pancreas, and cardiac patients, including LVAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or other clinical field required.
• Master’s degree preferred; willingness to pursue higher education.
• Active RN license and CPHQ certification required.
• Minimum three years of management experience in a quality/performance role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Transplant Quality Program and lead QAPI across transplant services.
• Coordinate regulatory readiness for OPTN, CMS, UNOS, and Joint Commission surveys.
• Develop and implement plans for response to surveys and changes in policies.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to achieve program quality goals.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and communication with senior leadership.
• Supervise staff and manage performance evaluations within transplant services.
